    Does not work well for its intended purpose.

I gave it a two star as it does heat and melt plastic well.  the setting work good,  it did seal two very flat surfaces,  however most clamshells do not work this way,  and two spot seal them is futile at best.  i have melted plastic, almost burned a whole through the clamshell, and unless the two pieces are very flat and easily touch each other, its near impossible to get the seal.  with mine, the clamshels fit into each other so you really had to press to get them to touch.
