I have PCOS and have been under the care of an Endocrinologist for the past 5 years who had me on a pill diabetics take to help control their blood sugar but I just didn't feel like it was the right thing for me. Earlier this year I saw a Naturopathic Dr who suggested I take this instead and I gotta tell you, I am so happy now. I feel so much better, have more energy, and I feel like my blood sugar levels are where they need to be which makes it so much easier to lose weight. The taste is sweet and easily dissolves in a cup of water. Highly recommend!

I believe this product created an environment where my body and mind were able to function normally and I was able to conceive after having a PCOS diagnosis (and all the hormone imbalances associated). Before taking this product I was unsuccessful for 9 months. I took this product along with vitex fruit for 3 months. During those 3 months my menstrual cycle decreased from 37 days to 27; and I was able to track ovulation.

I suffered from PCOS, this year the symptoms seemed to get worse. I went months without having a period to point where I was prescribed meds for it to come. After taking the meds it came on its own for a couple of months then nothing for 3 more months. I decided this time I wasn't going to take meds. My period eventually came but it lasted for a month!!! I experienced Heavy bleeding and major clotting. I went to the dr and they diagnosed me with Abnormal Uterine Bleeding and put me on meds (which were supposed to stop the bleeding but it only made the cramping and bleeding worse). I decided to stop taking the med and do some research on natural solutions. That's when I came across Myo-Inositol. From what I read it was something that my body was missing and great for those of us that suffered from PCOS. So I ordered it last week and it arrived this week Monday. I started taking it Monday as recommended on the container and each day after the bleeding improved. Now it's Friday and the bleeding has completely stopped. I wasn't expecting it to work so soon but I'm not complaining. I will continue to take this supplement along with other supplements I've been taking (CoQ10, Magnesium, Multivitamin, Flaxseed oil pills, & Maca Root Powder) to help keep my system healthy and regulated!

I used this as a supplement to help get pregnant - it didn't work - BUT, this powder has no taste, and I do believe it gave my reproductive system a boost. If trying to conceive, it can't hurt to take this. I would take it again, if I thought it would help my particular situation.

I love this product. I have PCOS and often experience many of the side effects. With this supplement I feel so much more level minded, focused, and even started getting my own periods-which has never happened. While I have yet to notice any real weight loss, (which is probably more my fault) I have not been gaining! If you have PCOS I highly recommend this product. With this size I am able to make it last for over 2 months, depending on what dose you use.

I researched a lot to find something to help my metabolism and hormone imbalance that i suffer from because of polycystic ovarian syndrom. This is great almost no taste at all, and I take 1tsp 2x a day and within a few days my energy level is through the roof. I at this time have a 6 week old baby, and a 6 and 7 year old I average 4-5 hours of sleep a night, and I have enough energy to work out an hour a day. I feel like im twenty. It is not making me loose weight with no work however with pcos it seems like no matter what you do you cannot loose weight, and I am averaging 1-2 lbs a week which is huge for me. I would recomend this for anyone thats down, and no energy or has pcos give it a try its not expensive, and if you dont like it ship it to me!

I began taking this loose myo inositol powder after taking the Fairhaven Health Myo Inositol and Ovaboost for 1 month. I decided to use the powder because it is less expensive than capsule forms. I had taken the capsule forms twice a day and with the powder I have decided to take the entire daily dose in the morning with my vitamins with no adverse effects. Ovaboost can make you sleepy so I spread out the dosage. I had phenomenal results with the other versions I took and have continued to have great success. Just to recap: I have poly cystic ovaries. I usually have to take Metformin to ovulate early enough in my cycle for a healthy baby. The one time I got pregnant without it I lost my baby in the second trimester. The first cycle that I took myo inositol I ovulated day 15 confirmed by the most awesomely obvious thermal shift on a chart I have ever had (a very strong ovulation and great post O temps WITHOUT supplemental Progesterone.) I had a 13 day luteal phase (lengthened from 11) and normal cramps during menses without the crazy pain I have dreaded the last few months. When I talked to my dr, the only thing he had to offer me for all of the problems I have experienced is birth control pills. Hormonal contraception is listed by the WHO as CANCER CAUSING! I have been looking and looking because I was hoping that I could find something other than Metformin to help me. This may not help everyone but as someone with a serious family history of type 2 diabetes and really bad insulin resistance, this has been the answer. I could not imagine a better response to my issues than what I have had. I wish I could link my chart here as an example. I will say that taking the pills was easier for me because I don't love the slightly sweet flavor in my water but buying the powder loose is like getting a month free....so its worth it to me. The texture of the powder is like powdered sugar and it's easy to measure into water or whatever you want. I take 8000mg a day which is 2 level teaspoons. That is the same as 4 capsules of myo inositol and 4 capsules of Ovaboost from Fairhaven. Try this is you have problems with insulin resistance that are affecting your cycles. I will update again in a few months. Update: When I switched from Fairhaven Health Myo Inositol to this Myo-Inositol powder my cycles completely reverted to the way they were prior to taking the Fairhaven product. I ended up with a neverending Aunt Flo, and I'm still waiting to ovulate on day 20. The awesome energy I had is gone and the positive effect on my sex drive and emotional well being is also gone. I am so disappointed. I have no idea what is different. Oh and by the way, I experienced no adverse GI symptoms on the Fairhaven product but this one sends me running to the bathroom after every meal. I have six children to care for including 2 year old twins. I do not have time to be running to the bathroom everywhere I go. I have realized that paying the extra money for a product produced in the USA is worth it. I don't know what this product really is but I don't think it's Myo Inositol. I re-ordered from Fairhaven Health this morning and it cannot get here fast enough. I hope this helps someone else and I am so sorry if my initial review encouraged anyone to buy this particular product.
