It was a great idea and everyone had a great time. Other coworkers also brought their kids and they just had a blast. The entire kit was enough to dye 18 cotton onesies, 1 dozen baby socks and 6 bibs. The instructions were pretty easy to follow. It came with written and illustrated instructions (it was like a comic strip) which was helpful and appealing to young ones. It also came with a DVD about details on how to have great results with the tie-dye but I didn't really have enough time to watch it. The results of the shirts were cool. It doesn't look like made by a professional but it's good enough considering that most of us had minimal experience in tie-dying and also because there were a lot of kids that just played with the dye. The best thing is that we all had fun. It was a great activity and I will keep this product in mind for next time. Maybe this time I'll try to watch the DVD so results will be even better. Overall this product is great. It's complete, all you really need are buckets, some garbage bags to protect the surface of your work table and water. Also, it's a cheap activity that is appropriate for all ages. I highly recommend it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Definitely professional quality -- so much better than I expected! *by D***T on July 28, 2016* I am SO impressed -- my three kids each have a "professional" tie-dye shirt, and they love to wear them together and have "tie-dye day." So I thought we'd try to make our own... I warned them that the ones we made weren't going to be as nice as the ones they have, but I WAS WRONG! All of our shirts turned out beautifully, even the ones my 4yo and 3yo "tied" and "dyed" themselves! We will definitely be buying this product again. A couple of tips if you buy this kit: the single pair of latex gloves included is not enough if you have more than one person tie-dying, and if you're working with little little kids (like I was), prepare yourself for a forearm workout-- it's a lot of wringing! Watch the video, and be wary of following the "mix color" instructions to the letter, unless the mixed color is the only one you want. (Mixing "green" in the bottle basically used up almost all of the yellow -- I wish I'd estimated a half bottle of green, or just mixed out of the bottle.) We got about 8-10 fully and deeply dyed shirts (very little white areas) from one kit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality dye! *by G***E on December 21, 2020* I got this to tie dye a few things for Christmas presents. I dyed two child's hoodies and an apron. The dye was nice and I really liked how the kit comes with the soda ash, gloves, and rubber bands. No need to go out and buy those items separately. Also with the dye being already in the bottles it was decently mess free. The colors were vibrant. My only complaints would be that one, the kit says dye up to 15 shirts.. definitely not enough dye for 15 shirts, its more like 5 (if you want nice bright colors).
