Feels very solid. I do with the los would stay open a little longer, but I won’t knock it down any stars for that because it’s probably the same length as of time as other motion sensor garbage cans. I looked up the best garbage cans on Google when deciding which to get & this was on a few lists. Definitely the nicest garbage can I’ve owned before & even with wanting the lid to stay open longer (I’m getting nit picky with that) I’m happy with the purchase. It’s going on a month now. I’ve sent follow up emails.
