I completely agree with the other reviewers who say these things are super hard to close. Sometimes they are. Other times, weirdly, they aren't. It might be an issue of some tops working better with other bottoms, but I'm usually able to close them all with anywhere from 3 to 10 seconds of work. It would be nice if the precision was greater, but in the end I think it's just right. If the tops were any wider I don't think they'd stay closed as well.My son, who is 2, LOVES these eggs, though, so I bumped my review up from 3 to 4 stars. He can't get enough of them. He watches those egg surprise videos on Youtube all the time, so he goes nuts over these things. I'll just fill them with whatever small (or not so small) toys are lying around, and roll them across the floor. He runs after them, picks them up, shakes them to hear the noise, then knows how to open them by pressing them against the floor (which hasn't broken them yet).Have I mentioned that these eggs are HUGE? Absolutely enormous. I was looking all over for eggs that could hold a matchbox car. Well, I think one of these could hold about 10 matchbox cars. Maybe more. They're gigantic.
