It's the perfect size for my 30" X 60" workbench. It's super sturdy and Yost has an excellent reputation. The one thing I have experienced is: if I clamp something in it and the item is not perfectly centered over the beam, The vise will jam when I loosen the jaw. It takes me having to give the outboard jaw a firm but not crazy hard bump on the side with the palm of my hand to release it. I have gotten used to it and I don't know if this is something common to this model but it's what happens to mine.
