My doctor specifically told me that too much is counterproductive—and he was talking about more than 6mg.** A: Everyone’s needs are different. 10 mg is the maximum dosage. Your night time routine and your exposure to blue light makes a huge difference with its effectiveness. If you take melatonin regularly your body will need more as time goes on. This pill would be so much more convenient in meeting individual needs if it were halved, and then you could opt for one or two pills per night as needed. For those needing 3 mg or less, before increasing, I’d add 100 mg L-Theanine, because it’s very effective as well. **Q: Specifically is the melatonin in this product derived from animals or is this of synthetic origin** A: Synthetic Origin **Q: Is this product kosher?** A: I would think so as it is marked suitable for vegans. They help me rest well without side effects. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ One bottle in and this works well for a Ambien veteran *by P***N on July 6, 2022* Have taken Ambien for a long, long time and sleep with CPAP. Wanted to find something easier to get a hold of because my prescription plan is a PITA to get it renewed every 90 days. This product works better than most of the other melatonin only or melatonin blend products I've tried. Taken about 30min or so before bed and I'm yawning like I've been up for 2 days. From my sleep monitor my head hits the pillow and typically I'm out in less than 10 minutes. Often wake during the night to use the restroom and right back to sleep after which never happened on Ambien.
