On the back "FDA CE Approved" was blacked out with a permanent marker. I contacted the seller and they explained that it was basically a misprint because the FDA doesn't approve face paint products, but they were willing to provide MSDS information as well as other proofs of it being safe.We had fun making a YouTube video (3 minute face paint challenge) but I was pretty disappointed that there wasn't any black, I feel like that's a pretty important color for lots of designs. Other than that, I've been pretty happy. My first time using the stencils was pretty bad, it bled under them (they're stickers) but I gave the a gentle rinse off and tried again once the paint dried up a little. That worked perfectly-no bleeding once it was a thicker paint. We made a day of it and had such a fun time trying the stencils, paint on a brush and crayon style paints.They love to dress up and play pretend so this adds to the fun and what child doesn't link a good face painting. It's really easy to use and the set has everything you need to have lots of fun. This stuff is great it only takes a little and it goes on and stays on until you wash it off. Removing it isnt to difficult to do it pretty easy and it doesnt leave a stain on the skin or anything like that. The colors are nice and crisp and look great on the skin. They are easy to apply and go on smooth without a lot of rubbing the skin. When it comes off it leaves no skin irritations or rashes which is important because my kids can be very sensitive sometines. I was really debating to give it a 3 or 4 star review, but I decided with the 4 stars because the kids did have a lot of fun with it.Pros:1) Kids love it and have fun putting paint on each other's faces. It keeps them busy and make moms less stress.
