The charcoal bed is thick enough that it completely scrubs the air, so those chemical smells don't stand a chance of taking over the room. It has a sturdy steel mesh design that allows for great airflow, and I really like that the pre-filter cloth is detachable so you can keep it clean. It’s a simple, effective piece of gear that connects easily to 4-inch ducting and works exactly like it should.
