I read this book to my 2 year old son at the time when we talked to him about his parents splitting apart. He really grasped it and held on. This book and another got him through the move to a new place and helped him to adjust to visits between two homes. We revisit it as necessary and when things change. Sometimes my son will ask for it. I keep it on a low shelf so he can hear it when he wants. I can't recommend this book more highly. I have suggested it to other parents as well and they told me it was really helpful. I love that it is so age appropriate and positive. It reminds the child that both parents still love him and will both provide a loving and comfortable and safe environment for him to come and go.
