## Description

ApplicationsThe anchor is made from Carbon Steel, and is Blue. This anchor is designed for use in Concrete, Block, and Brick.EnvironmentThe anchor is designed for use in a Dry environment.Head Style The anchor is a Hex Washer head and is designed to allow the head to sit on top of the surface of the item being attached.Hole Diameter/Bit DiameterThe anchor requires a 3/16" hole to be drilled in the base material (Concrete, Block, and Brick). The hole should be drilled with carbide tipped bit that meets ANSI standards and used in a hammer drill.Driver RequiredA 5/16" nut driver is required for driving the anchor into the base material.Diameter of Anchor The diameter of the anchor is 1/4".Length Anchor The length of the anchor is 2-3/4"Thread LengthThe length of the threads on the anchor is 1-3/4" in length.Minimum EmbedmentThe minimum anchor embedment into the concrete is 1". Therefore, the anchor must be installed so that a minimum of 1" of the anchor is embedded into the concrete.Maximum Fixture ThicknessThe maximum fixture thickness or the maximum thickness of the material being fastened for a anchor is 1-1/4" to 1-3/4". This will ensure that the minimum embedment of 1" will be met.Fixture Hole DiameterThe hole in the fixture or material being fastened must be larger than the designated diameter of the anchor. The 1/4" diameter anchor requires the hole in the fixture to be 5/16".Spacing between AnchorsEach anchor must be spaced a minimum distance of 4" from each other when measured center to center.Edge DistanceIt is very important not to install the anchor any closer than 3" from an unsupported edge of the concrete.

Review: Just as good as high priced bits - Bought these 2 weeks before hurricane Ian hit because I had a bad feeling about hurricane season. Well unfortunately I was right and we were hit by hurricane Ian. On the day of the hurricane it made a turn toward Fort Myers and we needed these to put up our plywood. These all worked perfect and held through the storm. We only broke 1 screw off while mounting the plywood but that was my fault for not setting the clutch on my drill on the first bit. Every other screw went in like they should and came out the same. I highly recommend these anchors as they didn't let us down. All windows were protected. Too bad I can't say the same about our roof but these screws had nothing to do with that loss.
Review: These are the real deal! - Super impressed by these! I’ve gotten so much use out of it and made a lot of money from it too. I’ve used these two install downspouts for gutters, I’ve also used it to install vents for dryers on the outside. These guys have no issue going through the material. I would recommend First doing a Masonary bit to go through the area, you are going to be securing, once you’ve done that, though, this guy has no problem and it bites really well. Many other screws seem to not hold very well and eventually come right off the wall. These guys are awesome.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not Tapcons, but adequate
*by A***K on November 30, 2021*

These were so much cheaper than the Tapcons at Home Depot I decided to give them a try. The bit that comes with the package worked okay for about 6 holes in mortar and then it became so dull as to be useless. Found an old Bosch bit in my toolbox that finished the job. Also during install I had one head break sheer off the screw anchor when it was torquing down. Rather than try to extract the broken anchor I just plugged the hole with some caulk and drilled another hole. Never had this happen with a Tapcon.
