## Description

Product Description Combat Max for Large Roaches is formulated with food that specifically attracts American roaches and other large roaches. Combat Max for Large Roaches kills roaches in a Domino-Effect, and eliminates at the source of the infestation. This package contains 8 roach killing baits. Have you tried solutions in the past that have not gotten the job done? At Combat, we recommend identifying the type of pest prior to solving the problem. Not all ants and roaches are the same and this is where the plan of attack comes in. Know thy enemy! At Combat we believe the first step in winning the battle against foreign invaders, large or small, is having a plan of attack. And to do that you must know the enemy's strengths and weaknesses. Combat specializes in killing ants and roaches. Not just killing the ones you see, but the ones you do not! That’s right, our formulas are specially designed for ants and roaches to take the bait back to the colony, eliminating the source. With such attractive formulas, Combat wins the war on bugs…. After all, bugs love us to death. Brand Story By Combat

Review: Roach Retirement Plan - These little bait stations are like mousers for roaches: discreet, deadly, and shockingly efficient. I set out a couple in the usual hotspots and stopped hearing the little scuttle concerts within a day. Not glamorous, but it gets the job done — quietly and without a spray cloud of doom. Pros: Works quickly — noticeable drop in activity within 24–48 hours. Easy to place and kid/pet-safe when used as directed. Long-lasting — no constant reapplication needed. Cons: Not Instant Karma — takes a day or two to see full results. Needs placement in the right spots; won’t work if roaches avoid the station entirely. Bottom line: Practical, low-fuss roach control that actually reduces sightings fast. Five stars.
Review: THESE WORK! - NB: I live in a freestanding house, so roaches can't come in from neighbors. If you share walls with others, things will be more difficult. I had zero roaches for the first 12 years I lived here, and then one day I saw a standard (1" long) roach in my kitchen sink. And then another was sitting in the dish washer, just hanging out, having a good time. And I was like, "Crap, something came in on a grocery pick-up." At first I tried spraying Raid in all the crevices around the kitchen, and putting down Raid bait traps. Then I added Ortho foaming spray. I saw a couple more adult roaches, and often juveniles would be wandering around on my counter. This kept going for two months, so I decided to switch to the Combat baits. I knew the bugs hadn't yet taken over the whole house (nothing in the bathrooms or basement), and if I could eradicate them, I would be in good shape. Well. The Combat baits went directly on the counter (where I saw roaches), under the dishwasher, under the sink, and under the fridge. Within two weeks I didn't see any roaches of any age. It's been 3 months now, and still nothing. I think it may have eradicated the nest? The company claims they last a year and I still have some bait traps (I bought the 18-pack), so at the 6-month mark I'll slide the rest under the appliances and take the others off the counter. Obviously if you live in a place where you have attached walls with neighbors, you need to maintain vigilance. But if you put these down at the first sign of bugs, they really do work and can control (or possibly eradicate) the problem. Raid and Ortho just weren't cutting it, but these Combat disks did it.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this kill silverfish as well or do they need a separate type of trap?**
A: Combat will not kill silver fish, however, diazinon will kill roaches, silverfish, ants, and others. Silver fish can be gotten rid of by eliminating moisture from inside your house, so turn on your air conditioner, or smell the diazinon. Combat is the best for roaches now that chlordane is banned. Do not under use Combat or you will get the perception that it does not work. All that roaches are looking for is a drink of water, even by eating wet wood after termites have softened it up. Other water sources include the kitchen sink (and cupboards, they will pick up a snack), all bathroom fixtures, washer dryer, refrigerator, freezer, air conditioners (evaporator, even if it is in the attic), all window units, any leak in the roof, or any where else, pet water bowl, etc. If you live in a zero evaporation rate area, such as the Texas Gulf Coast your slab could sweat even if there is a vapor barrier installed underneath the slab. (Silver fish are looking for the wet slab because they eat carpet and rugs.) As for roach bait usage here are some guide lines: kitchen-7-10, bathrooms-3-5, ac-3-5, other rooms-2-3, garage minimum 4. Before you place the individual baits write the date on the bottom or on masking tape, top or bottom. The baits do not have a top or bottom as far as the roaches are concerned. (On average they are dumber than sheet rock.) Currently one is being tortured in my kitchen, the dumb bastard. Replacement of ALL of the baits should be done immediately upon seeing the first healthy roach. Follow this timing rigorously, and with any luck you will only see two roaches per year for the rest of your life. For a small 3-2-2 expect to spend $70 to $100 on Combat every six months or so.

**Q: does it kill germen roach**
A: Kills them all, without remorse.

**Q: As I was reading the instructions, it says that all 8 baits must be used at once. Is this true? What happen if I just use 3 or 4?**
A: I don't use all 8 at once. I just put out 4 or 5 in different rooms and I have not seen any roaches in my home and I just bought it a year ago. :) I love Combat and will always use these. No smell and not messy at all.

**Q: Do you put them label side down or label on top**
A: Label side down

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Magical miracle in 2 weeks
*by C***O on July 3, 2025*

I never write reviews, but this product really deserves one. When we moved into this apartment, I noticed some small roaches around, so I tried Maxforce gel, which had worked for me in the past. However, this time the insects were really stubborn and were everywhere in the apartment. I battled them for over a year, and my husband didn’t help much — he would leave food on the floor and on the countertop, and wouldn’t wash the dishes. I was so stressed that I once found an empty egg case in the dishwasher (which my husband never used), and I got really mad at him. Since I travel a lot on weekends, I barely had a chance to keep up with the cleaning, so the roaches were basically having a big party here. I was very concerned about my baby, so I used to take him with me when traveling. By June, I was so fed up that after being away for two weeks, I came back to a situation that was barely tolerable. The roaches were everywhere — not just at night, but during the day too! I used a Raid fogger and searched for different ways to fight the infestation. Honestly, I had read so many good reviews about this product that I figured I had nothing to lose. The price is incredibly cheap compared to professional pest control (which I don’t trust at all — especially after living with an aunt who had rats. I ended up taking control myself because their solutions were useless). Anyway, I left again and came back with the baby. After the third day, I started to worry because I found roaches in places they normally don’t show up. I was concerned that this product wasn’t working, but there was a noticeable difference — the roaches were slower than usual. Then I traveled again, and when I returned after two weeks, I saw that the mature roaches were gone, except for a few little ones that I assume had just hatched (and I expect them to be gone soon!) It’s been a month now, and I’d say that in the past week I’ve only seen two small ones — and nothing else. (Before, I used to see them constantly during the day.) I’d say this is a great solution. No need to smear paste on the walls or in the corners (which looks anything but discreet). I finally have peace of mind and can bring my baby home without feeling overwhelmed about hygiene.
