They’re all brushless motors, and the drill is a hammer drill. The impact gun has 3 modes, 1 being gentle enough to replace a screwdriver, and 3 being strong enough to send it to the moon.If you’re simply a home owner, or like DIY projects, you could save some money and get this exact tool set however with a brushed motor, and a non-hammer drill. I don’t know what the set # is, but I know it’s there because I almost mistakenly got that set. It’s about $300 cheaper for the ‘home-owner’ edition.But if money is no issue, and you need tools, then get this set because it is better. But if you don’t plan to use these tools everyday , get the brushed motor and save yourself some money. They’re both high quality and good tools, the brushless ones can just handle a bigger work load.I’ve saw people talking about a left handed vs right handed circular saw….. let’s be clear, this is for right handed use. 99% of tools are for right handed use. If you are a lefty and want one, I think Milwaukee makes those versions. Dewalt might, but it may need to be special made. Now you CAN use it on any hand, but it will be more difficult to see your cuts.
