There is a little divot in the end of the ruler where you can rest the tip of a sharp pencil to mark a line. That would be accurate enough for most work. **Q: Is this in any way an angle finder too?** A: Not at all. Has 90 and 45 degrees only. ..and even in 90 and 45 it's works bad. .because it has this movement even when you tite it with the gold screw. ..it can be 88 or 92 so it's not square. ... **Q: Is it metal or plastic ?** A: Both the blue body is plastic and a metal ruler with a brass screw to hold the ruler in the selected slot you choose from T square 45 angle or depth gauge Regards David **Q: What is the "limited edition" and why is it worth $10 more than the base unit?** A: There is only one, the KMA2900.
