Not that we were ever at risk of miss seeing the Hagia Sophia or the Blue Mosque without this book, but we probably would have not bought a Museum Pass; or taken the Public Ferry Bosporus to the Blace Sea and a taxi back to save time; or had in one place what's open on what day of the week. Also, I got it on Kindle, which made it easier to reference anything using the links and the search function.
