No, the Dart Rover does not work in grass. Only on surfaces such as wood flooring or carpet. **Q: would it collect nerf Megas and Rival Rounds?** A: well I think so about the megas, if you are talking the rival rounds I don't think so. if you roll it slow and not like your speed vacuuming it works great.
