To much protien causes your hair to be easy to break and damaged. So you have to maintain a protein moisture balance. **Q: Do you shampoo first before using this?** A: Yes, you need to shampoo with a special shampoo at least twice **Q: Could this replace a conditioner after a wash or would you rinse this product out and follow with a conditioner?** A: You have to wash the product out and follow with a conditioner...
