A: Open the filter after a month. Check it out. I check the flow when it slows down l clean the hole filter about three months.

**Q: What is the diameter of this filter? Can I use it in a 7 inch sump cup?**
A: My pads go into the 2217 canister filter

**Q: Do these fit the Ecco line of Eheim canister filters?**
