😀 Review: Finally, the perfect keyboard. - I mean, this has to be the best keyboard ever made. Like, ever. It does so much, while also being extremely simple. It's beautiful, it's sleek, it's lightweight, it's wireless, it's quiet (linear version at least). Minimalist but also loaded with features and customization. Did I mention how light it is? Unbelievable battery life, probably have to charge it once a week or so, just plug it in overnight when I go to bed. Climate change friendly? Not entirely sure what that even means but, sounds good to me! Also I'm fairly sure this keyboard is either magical or has some sort of secret AI, because I swear keystrokes I used to miss or struggle with just beautifully and naturally fall into place now. It's like it just knows where my fingers are going to go, or somehow guides them to the right place. The keyboard itself made me a faster and more accurate typist. Amazing! It is pricey, but I expect this keyboard to last me a very, very long time. I've never met its equal, maybe there's some secret amazing find cheaper third party option floating around somewhere that's just as good (I did try one, it was awful), but, for over 10 years now Logitech has always done me right, and, at least for me, their quality of product always stands the test of time and I've never regretted a single Logi purchase. Before this my G910 was the best keyboard, and I stand by my assertion the G602 is one of the best gaming mouses out there. I've never denied I'm a bit I'm a Logitech fanboy. For a reason. For reasons. I can now add the G915 to that list of reasons. I wouldn't have minded some sort of palm rest or palm rest option. Even if you had to buy it separately and attach it as an accessory...but like I said, they were going for minimalist, and so that was one thing that had to go. I'm not going to detract points because it's not a huge deal and most people don't want a palm rest, though they are good for helping to quickly pick up a keyboard without bumping the spacebar or something...but again, not a big deal, just being nitpicky. I have a memory foam palm rest that is perfectly sufficient and fantastically comfortable compared to any plastic one I've ever used. Get this keyboard. It's worth it, I promise. ## Features - LIGHTSPEED wireless delivers pro-grade performance with flexibility and freedom from cords. Creates a clean aesthetics for battlestations. It was the G915 (wireless) full keyboard with "clicky" switches. Here is why: - First off, they punctuation symbols on the keyboard are all reversed! OK, you might not think this is a big deal until you are using the thing in low light and discover that you can not see all of the symbols and that they are invisible. Only one set of the symbols lights up in the dark and they put all of those on top of the normal "shifted" symbol. It is confusing as all get out in low-light especially when you cannot find say the "^" carrot symbol or verify which number key has the opening paren. Every keyboard I have ever owned has the unshifted character on the bottom, and the shifted character printed on the top. Not with this keyboard, they reversed it and hide half the symbols in low light. - Next, and this will be personal preference I am sure, but the local BestBuy only had "clicky" versions of this keyboard. I used it for one day and had to return it. The clicky version is TOO CLICKY LOUD. I could not use it on conference calls. The keys traveled a little more than I thought they should for a "low-profile" keyboard too. Again, this is my personal preferences and your mileage may completely vary based on your likes. - AND, the RGB is underwhelming. It is not very bright. The three built-in color modes sort of suck. Ok, the first one, which is a default rainbox wave is ok and looks good, but the other two are horrid. The other two is a breathing mode stuck on a single color going in and out. The other mode was --well I couldn't figure it out. Most of the time the keys looked like they were simply backlit in white color with no animations. Yes, I know there is software to download and install on your WINDOWS PC to be able to adjust all of that, but out of the box couldn't of they have at least made 6-8 built-in animations that you did not need software for? - FINALLY, there is not wrist rest. Most quality keyboards come with a wrist rest that matches or is made to be used with the keyboard. Not this one. For this price range it should have a wrist rest. They keyboard is a little wider than a standard keyboard thanks to the extra Macro/Function keys on the left. So finding a wrist rest that aligns up with the keyboard is very difficult. I actually wanted a keyboard with extra function keys for macros built in, but I also need a matching wrist rest too. I really wanted this keyboard for a long time. I purchased it and then was really dissatisfied with what I got. Bummer. **Q: The first photo shows an iso layout with the "7" shaped return key. that's not the one they actually ship to us addresses is it?** A: No; I live in the US and received a standard ANSI layout **Q: Usb c or micro for the charge port?** A: Sadly, they still have not adapted to USB-C yet. It is a micro usb charge port. **Q: Can you use this keyboard wired, or does it have to be wirelessly?** A: You can use the keyboard wired and wireless. I'm actually using it wired for my gaming pc and bluetooth to my streaming pc, with a press of a button I switch between the two. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Buen teclado *by K***Z on 17 October 2024* El teclado esta padre, puedes configurar las luces, las teclas macro y el rollo para subir y bajar de volumen esta cool. I bought it a little over a year ago because on paper, it met all my preferences. Wireless, mechanical, number pad included, linear switches, backlit, high key travel distance and low profile. I tried looking for others that fit this mold but they were either membrane "non-gaming" keyboards, or some TKL form factor. Early on, the battery life was stellar (like a full week with no charge), but after a year of pretty heavy use (I'm on my computer literally every day for work and games), it'll last maybe 2 days before I need to plug it back in. I'll be honest though, I have different RGB settings for different games, maximum brightness, and I'm on my computer for most of the day. That'd be 8-9 hours of work, maybe 2 or 3-ish hours of games nightly. And then obviously longer sessions if I'm staying in for the weekend. Initially I didn't really care for the RGB, but it has some practical uses. I find myself using the echo-press feature as my default setting. And when I play Apex, I have it set to respond to specific things on-screen, which actually comes in handy. Overall, this thing is an easy 5-star. I wish the battery was stronger, but it's no hassle to just plug it in for a bit. And I'm a little biased because my G903 mouse almost never needs to be recharged. When this keyboard dies or breaks, I'm literally just gonna buy another one. If you have similar keyboard preferences and can afford it, get it. I'm not into tactile or clicky switches, but my wife has the clicky one and loves her keyboard too. ## Frequently Bought Together - Logitech G915 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, Low Profile GL Linear Key Switch, LIGHTSYNC RGB, Advanced LIGHTSPEED Wireless and Bluetooth Support,Black - Logitech G502 X Plus Lightspeed Wireless Optical Mouse - LIGHTFORCE hybrid switches, LIGHTSYNC RGB, HERO 25K gaming sensor, compatible with PC - macOS/Windows - Black - Logitech G POWERPLAY Wireless Charging System for G502 LIGHTSPEED, G502 X PLUS, PRO X Superlight Gaming Mice & more, Wireless Charging Mouse Pad for PC/Mac, in Cloth + Hard Mousepads --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/255644650-logitech-g915-mechanical-gaming-keyboard-low-profile-gl-linear-key](https://www.desertcart.at/products/255644650-logitech-g915-mechanical-gaming-keyboard-low-profile-gl-linear-key) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-11-05*
