A: The older answers above this one were for our older models of Speed Stacks Timers. This current version is a G4 (generation 4) timer and requires 2 AAA batteries that are included with your purchase.

**Q: do you know somebody sales speed stack timer batteries?**
A: The use CR2032 coin batteries which are very common

**Q: Does this timer snap onto a generation 3 mat?**
A: Yes.
