**Q: My owners manual states the Motorcraft FL-500-S oil filter fits the 2013 MKT Ecoboost engine you say not. Whats up. Ken J.**
A: It says it won't fit a 2013 f150 but a second seller on Amazon says it will so I doubt it's Amazon data base it's probably just the sellers error. With that said "fitting" a vehicle doesn't mean it's the right filter due to the check valve in the filter. And the flow characteristics of the filter.

**Q: Will this fit a 2014 ford f250**
A: The filter you probably need in an FL-820s. I'm assuming it's a gas engine

**Q: is the fl500s a direct replacement fpr fl 280s?**
A: I can't answer this question. All eco boost are different.
