A: I would insert and flatten a piece of fabric inside the slit so that 5he fabric is under both sides of the year. Then apply the glue on the flatten fabric and press both sides of the tear together to close and apply pressure for glue to adhere to the tear.

A: No, this is not a super glue type of glue, which will bond within seconds. Aleene's Leather & Suede Glue will set up in 28-35 minutes, and will cure within 72 hours depending on the environmental conditions.

**Q: Can this be used to glue decals to leather?**
A: I'm unsure. I used this glue for suede and leather materials. I have not tried to glue on decals.
