## Description

Red Devil Onetime Fiber Mesh Crack Patch is an easy way to repair and reinforce reoccurring cracks in drywall & plaster. The product is self adhesive and can be used inside or outside. Simply cut to the needed size, peel the liner backing from the fiber mesh and adhere to your wall or ceiling. Use a putty knife to apply Red Devil Onetime Spackling (sold separately) to the repair area, lightly sand and smooth once dried and the area is now ready to be painted, textured or wallpapered.

Review: Worked great on old plaster ceilings - We just purchased an old 1940s house and found several of the old plaster ceilings cracked. Someone had tried to cover them with a latex paint but the cracks reappeared. The Red Devil Fiber Mesh was easy to work with, after cleaning the areas around the cracks, the Fiber Mesh stayed on even though the ceiling have a texture to them. Covering wasn’t too bad, but I do have to apply a 2nd or even 3rd coat due to the texture of the ceiling and previous attempts to repair cracks. Even letting the Fiber Mesh alone for over a week, the mesh stays in place. Overall, the Red Devil Fiber Mesh has worked great for my situation and I do recommend it.

**Q: Is it latex free?**

**Q: How sticky is this? will it stick to pvc and be secure or will it fall off? i don't need this for drywall crack just a project around the house.**
A: Every drywall mesh I’ve ever used was just sticky enough to place, nothing structural about the adhesive. 

When patching or seaming drywall, I always bed the tape of any kind with mud under and mud over. 

If you wrap this fiber tape by itself around pvc for some purpose, you will likely be disappointed.  Buy a really good duct tape from an HVAC supply house instead.  Just my opinion.  Bob

These are getting hard to find. Home Depot sells stupid, expensive individual patches made of metal. Overkill. Thus stuff works perfectly for fist sized holes in drywall. Or much bigger patches if you overlap the tape. Just don't try to fix huge holes in one or two coats because the mud will sag or even pull the tape off. Once you get a light coat of mud over the tape and hole, just do as many subsequent coats as it takes. Great, simple, inexpensive product.
