If the sonar shows a school off to a side I deutsch to side scan and find the side where the fish are and mark them. I then swing around in my 120 pdl kayak and pull fish from that school. I get better using this elite fs every week when I hit the water. I was gkingbto buy the HDS but for a kayak the elite is amazing. A 20ah lithium battery on desertcart is $60 and more than you need fir a day fishing and only weights 6 lbs. Everything has come along way so I woukd say get the elite sf and start feeling like your cheating because you can actually find and stay on the fish much easier.
