Very handy! We love battleship and this is a fun way to carry it wherever we go. It’s great for traveling, waiting at the doctors office or airport. Pieces magnetize to the top or bottom so you can pick up where you left off. Great if you have middle aged kids (or adults!!) to keep them entertained and communicating!

We have a daughter in club volleyball, so I actually purchased this to help pass the time in between games. We haven’t had a chance to use it yet, but I look forward to beating my husband when we do!

I was looking for a travel backgammon set, and I wanted to find the smallest lightest viable set so that I could bring it in my purse. This is it! The smallest viable set that I could find on Amazon, and the lightest. The magnetic tokens mean that you can close up mid-game and then resume later with the tokens not having shifted. They're a little hard to move, but that's why they don't move when it's folded. Easy to see color combination. Board is small, but big enough for adult hands to easily play. The one thing that I'm less pleased with is the dice that come with it, they really aren't very good. I substituted some mini dice that I got at a game store and now it's perfect.

This kept my 6 and 8 year olds entertained on a long road trip. Also great to keep in your purse for restaurants, long waits, etc. My only complaint is that the small dice is not magnetic, so I won’t be surprised if we lose it at some point. Great otherwise!

This game is a nice size, but the tokens to mark the hits and misses have no place to stay while playing. Also, when you get a hit on your boat, the tokens magnetic side will not attach to that boat, so you have to remember where the hit was. Nice idea, but not good design.

This is the best portable chess set I have been able to find so far. The pieces being flat is ideal for even playing chess in the car, but the magnets aren't super strong and may come off the board if dropped. I got six uses out of it traveling before losing a piece.

In search for a travel size Backgammon for a long trip by air internationally, I stumbled upon this lovely little set. Great size for children or adults, and super convenient magnetic pieces(have to hold the cheaters accountable during long trips). I love the practicality for traveling and this would make a great gift idea. Anyway, highly. 10/10 did purchase mostly for the zebra animal graphic design.

A travel-size magnetic Battleship-type game? Perfect! Sounds ideal for roadtrips and waits at restaurants and airports, doesn't it? If only. Here are the problems: 1. The design of the pieces is not great. The cardboard and the magnet separate far too easily, so even before we could play, we had to get out the glue and try to fix it. 2. The design of the game itself is very poor, and not well thought out at all. Each player has five little ships, 18 or so red circles for "hits," and 49 black circles for "misses." This makes sense for game play, but the board isn't big enough to hold the pieces while playing. (See the picture I attached.) Where in the world are you supposed to put the pieces so you can play the game and see the numbers and letters on the grid? You could put them in a cup or bowl, but remember: This is supposed to be a travel game that you can easily play on the go. This is a more than a design flaw: It makes the game virtually unusable. 3. Okay, let's say you figure out what to do with the extra pieces, and you're able to start playing. Your opponent calls out a coordinate, and it's a hit. If you were playing Battleship, you'd put a red peg in your ship. Here, you try to put a red magnet on your ship that was hit, and... no luck. The red piece is too big in relation to the ship, and the magnet is too weak, so it slips right off. Maybe this doesn't sound like a dealbreaker, but let's say you hit one of your opponent's ships, and you're playing against a kid who's still getting a feel for the game. What should have been a fun game just became incredibly confusing and frustrating, and in my case, the game was given up almost immediately. What we have here is a good idea in need a design overhaul, and until then, it's simply not practical or worth buying.

Das Spiel ist insgesamt gut . Allerdings sind die Spielkarten sehr klein und man muss die Spielfläche oft reinigen sonst verrutschen die Karten. Für Ein Reisespiel gut wenn wann auf die Karte aufpasst, da sie man schnell verlieren kann.

The pieces are magnetic. It is portable. If it ever goes on sale, then definitely buy it.
