I prefer it to a foam. It seems to make my hair a bit more manageable. I have used this product for years. It is my favorite. **Q: Does the product advertise that it is safe for color treated hair?** A: It is safe for color treated hair. I have been using this product for about three years, color my hair, and have had no problems. It may feel sticky on your hands, but never on your hair. It’s not crunchy on your hair either. Nice texture. I love it. Enjoy. **Q: Can this product be used after blow drying , on dry hair to putpieces into place for ma tosseled look** A: I have curly hair. I "half dry" my hair and then use this product and finish drying. These are the directions on container: Apply to damp hair. Air dry to define natural curls. Or mold and set for desired texture and definition, blow dry or air dry." I do like this product; it is not sticky and not too stiff. I use less than a teaspoon at a time.
