Technically , yes it is. But you wouldn't have a great game: not enough cards. So I wouldn't buy if that was the purpose. 4 people yes, 5 at a push, 6 not really. **Q: can you use the mini crowns as regular playing cards?** A: These cards are small but could be used like regular playing cards. They would be great to take along when you travel or just use at home. **Q: This description doesn’t match the product** A: I have both the large version and the small round version. I found the small one identical to the large version in respect of cards. It was not as easy to hold but good to travel with as a time filler. The directions say to play up to seven to be “faster”, but we’ve been able to play up to kings (like normal) with just 2 players. The cards themselves are both smaller in size and in quantity. The size and the fact the cards are round does make it a little harder to shuffle, but there are ways around traditional shuffling to get the cards mixed up well.The positive about this deck is that it is small and light enough to throw into our bag for our 2 week Europe trip where space is very limited. This has been our main source of entertainment on a train from Paris to London and we are really happy we made this purchase!The con would be the shuffling and less cards for playing to kings with more than 2 people but, again, the intention with this deck is to play to seven.I anticipate keeping this deck in my purse to play with my kids when they get bored waiting at a restaurant or appointment.
