A: You rub it in like lotion no smears are after stains

**Q: How many pads are in the jar?**
A: it is a cream, not pads

**Q: What will the approximate expiration date be on the chlorhexadine 2% ointment?**
A: Hi,  I can only speak about my invnetory (Acentus) and the expiration date will be about 2/1/2024

**Q: Is there supposed to have a safety seal?**
A: I would think there would be a seal on jar when you take off life. I would contact Davis to make sure. They are great products for dogs. I have used chlorhexidine shampoo, spray. Ketoconazole, baking soda shampoo, grease remover. I have cocker spaniel had lot of skin issues and these shampoo were effective.

I was so excited when I found this! I have been in the veterinary field since 1993 and we used this alot. Then after several years, I couldn't find it anymore. It works wonderfully for scrapes and minor wounds on both small and large animals. I also even use it for myself and my family. It doesn't sting or burn and works great to keep wounds from getting infected after cleaning them thoroughly. The smell is pleasant and it isn't greasy or goopy like alot of ointments. This is well worth the money and a little goes a long way, so it will last for a long time.
