**Q: Is there a trick to using the tool?  It had the opposite effect on my scissors, but maybe I'm using it wrong.**
A: It actually had the opposite effect on my scissors, too.   I ruined three pair of scissors.  I have the AccuSharp tool for sharpening knives and that works really well, though.

**Q: Are there replacement blades for the scissor, shear sharpener ?**
A: Yes replacement blades are available. However I use me sharpener quite extensively, and hasn't changed blades yet. Also the blades themselves can be reversed when dull. Thus givin' you essentially a new set of blades

**Q: Will it sharpen pinking sewing scissors**
A: Some scissors are only to be sharpened by equipment you buy from the manufacturer.  Check before you try it out!  P[nking scissors do not have flat edges (which are necessary with the aforementioned sharpener.  Best get it done professionally - especially if yours are "top of the line" scissors.

**Q: Does this work for fabric scissors?**
A: It’s a simple tool that should work for any scissors.
