You can use an external source. A usb hub or something similar. You can also use the Pi's usb port. Wiring the fan to a usb cable should be fairly easy. **Q: Does this fan run continuously or just above a certain CPU temperature ?** A: It runs continuously, but in all honesty, it's very quiet and not really noticeable...at least to me. It really does a great job at keeping the temp way down on my pi. **Q: Will this fit with room for the camera and display ribbons to connect?** A: Yes, there is room for both cables. The area above the display connector is completely open.
