Review: Rolls-Royce of the megachef burners - It's only been 1 day but I had a 29$ megachef dule burner that lasted 7 years as my primary source of cooking for a family of 3 that finally died on the big burner side, I saw this upgraded model and figured why not, same brand just fancy, when I finally got it, it was way bigger than expected. I could fit 2 big pots side by side with plenty of wiggle room. it heated half a gal of water to a full boil in just under 8 minutes, its a flat surface that makes it easy to clean and the handles on the sides stayed cool to the touch after 30 min of cook time, all in all I'm very happy so far, ill update if things change, crossing fingers that I can get at least a few years out of this bad boy Review: This cooktop is awesome! - I read the reviews about this so I was kinda leary about it. Some reviews said it didn't heat up well. I already have a single burner it will not get hot enough to boil water. I have a old cooktop. Only 2 burners work. I don't want to get a new one till I remodel my kitchen. This thing is fantastic! I cook all the time. It heats up fast! It boils, Sears, anything you need it to do. I even kept the box to return it. I definitely won't be! Not sure why others had problems with it heating. Maybe it is their cookware? I only paid 20 dollars more than the other piece of crap one I have. Highly recommend. ## Features - The Megachef Ceramic Infrared Cooktop is the perfect food heating mechanism you can bring on the go - this countertop burner works well with all types of cookware - Cleaning is a breeze with the crystallite glass top and The flat stainless steel makes this burner look great on any countertop. - Ceramic, Stainless Steel, Glass ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07XDD7GKB | | Best Sellers Rank | #268,491 in Kitchen & Dining ( See Top 100 in Kitchen & Dining ) #337 in Countertop Burners | | Brand | Megachef | | Brand Name | Megachef | | Color | Black | | Controls Type | Knob | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 91 Reviews | | Heating Element | Induction | | Heating Elements | 2 | | Included Components | One Cooktop | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 25"D x 11"W x 1.75"H | | Item Type Name | Ceramic | | Manufacturer | MegaChef | | Material | Stainless Steel | | Model Number | Infrared Cooktop | | Number of Heating Elements | 2 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Part Number | Infrared Cooktop | | Power Source | AC | | Product Dimensions | 25"D x 11"W x 1.75"H | | Special Feature | Manual | | Special Features | Manual | | UPC | 672975049805 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Megachef - **Burner type:** Induction - **Color:** Black - **Controls Type:** Knob - **Heating Elements:** 2 - **Included Components:** One Cooktop - **Material:** Stainless Steel - **Power Source:** AC - **Product Dimensions:** 25"D x 11"W x 1.75"H - **Special Feature:** Manual ## Images ![Ceramic Infrared Cooktop - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71tfVKdsD2L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What is the diameter of the big burner.** A: Large Burner measures in at 7.5 Inches and the Smaller Burner measures in at 6.5 Inches. **Q: How many watts is it ?** A: 1700 Watts ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rolls-Royce of the megachef burners *by W***M on September 9, 2026* It's only been 1 day but I had a 29$ megachef dule burner that lasted 7 years as my primary source of cooking for a family of 3 that finally died on the big burner side, I saw this upgraded model and figured why not, same brand just fancy, when I finally got it, it was way bigger than expected. Highly recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ nice cooktop *by S***E on December 8, 2022* I picked this cooktop because it had a lower watt demand than most of the others that were for sale. It works great. It is not fast but it does get the job done. I bought this after reading how bad gas stoves are for polluting the air inside our homes. The cooktop does stay hot for a few minutes, so I would not recommend for households with small children. The surface is glass. The glass cleans up easy. I did have a boil over with rice. The rice burned onto the glass. So it does look used because of the spill-over but functions as intended. ## Frequently Bought Together - Megachef Ceramic Infrared Cooktop - GSI Outdoors Pinnacle Pro Stove Bag – Durable 25"x15"x1.5" Padded Polyester Case with Pocket for Fuel Regulator and Hose --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/267862678-ceramic-infrared-cooktop](https://www.desertcart.at/products/267862678-ceramic-infrared-cooktop) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
