Review: I love these!!! - I loved these as a kid in the 50's and 60's and was very happy to find them still around on desertcart. Though smaller than I remember they bring back memories to better days growing up and I love the tart & sour taste. Iconic Candy deserves props for keeping this great old fashioned candy available and being true to their original flavor. I'll be buying these as long as I can find them here.
Review: " These were my favorite candies for years and I am so glad they ... - These are delicious and have plenty of that old time "sourness." These were my favorite candies for years and I am so glad they are back. On a scale of 1-10 of their old time sourness, I give them at least a 9.5 In my opinion, a lot of the people giving negative comments based on the lack of sourness are suffering from defective memories. In the past, for every one that was sour, there was another that had no sourness at all Whole rolls, frequently It was very hit or miss. The sour lemons always had, and still have, more sourness, to the point that (at least with the current version) you no longer even taste lemon, only sour. Same with the orange (not brought back yet as far as I know). These actually are not only sour but sour cherry. And I've had several rolls and they are consistent through and through. My favorite candy is back! I may sprinkle a few into the Halloween grab bag to give some youngsters a real treat. And that box and wrapping! glorious. A big thank you to whoever's idea this was.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How does this lemon candy compare to the discontinued lemon jolly ranchers? Thank you!**
A: It is much better than the Jolly Rancher lemon candy. This is really good sour lemon candy. There was a brand of lemon drops that was made in France and came in a small round tin that were the best but I can’t find them anywhere. The Regal lemon drops are a close substitute. Both of them put Jolly Rancher to shame. I have bought several boxes of the Regal Royal lemon candies and will continue to do so.

**Q: Is this gluten free?**
A: It doesn't say,but the ingredients don't list anything that would contain gluten

**Q: Nutritional breakdown of candy roll**
A: One piece of candy is: calories 15, Fat 0, carbs 3.5, sugar 3.5, proteins 0

**Q: What is the dimension of each roll?**
A: Each roll contains 7 candies. Each piece isapproximately 1"x1/3".

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beings Back Memories
*by U***0 on January 7, 2025*

My doctor recently told me I should use sour candy to stimulate a blocked salivary gland. After borrowing a brand from my grandchildren, I knew I needed to continue searching. I went back to my youth and searched for what I had used. To my surprise Regal Crown Sour Cherry popped up. The taste is the same and they still come individually wrapped! The only difference is they are smaller then I remember. Glad to report that follow up visits have noted that my gland has shown improvement.
