Review: This stuff is magic! - Bit of background, I am a person with very big thighs, to the point that any time I try to just wear stockings without a garter belt, they slip right off my legs. I put it on this morning at 9AM when I left the house to go to class, and my thigh highs have stayed ABSOLUTELY secure despite doing a decent degree of walking, including up and downhill. It is now 5PM as I write this and my stockings are still in the same place they were when I first put this stuff on. Absolute magic. The application was super easy too, legit just roll it on and press whatever you're putting on down for a good 30 seconds to a minute, and you're off to the races! Review: Perfect for wigs with one exception... - I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with this adhesive. I use it to secure my wigs, both regular cap and lace fronts. It’s non toxic, doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin or cause further hair loss, and it keeps my wig secured flush to my head so that I forget I’m even wearing one. My only gripe is that it doesn’t work if my head sweats. So, when I went to a funeral & it was nearly 90 degrees, my wig slid back so that my once eyebrow grazing bangs had slid up until they fell to the middle of my forehead without my realizing it until I got home. This wasn’t the worst tragedy of my life, but it could’ve been very embarrassing if anyone noticed. Having said that, this adhesive works wonderfully when my head doesn’t sweat. I feel confident and comfortable. Chicago wind storms haven’t budged my wig. It’s easy to remove as well. The leftover tackiness on my head comes off with a wet washcloth. When I know I might sweat, I wear the Milano wig grip. The knock off brands don’t work as well. I feel it’s gentle on my hair & skin but I do tend to feel it around my head when wearing it. My personal preference is to use It Stays whenever I plan to keep my wig on for extended periods of time and on days that I know I won’t be sweating. If I wear it to a wedding, for example, I make sure to check it in the ladies room every hour or so. If it has slid back, I pull my wig back into position and press down where I’ve applied It Stays for 60 seconds or so. Will these reapply fashion pasties and keep them in place that have lost their stick?** A: I bought this product specifically for use with silicone breast petals that had lost the original adhesive. The product works well as long as it’s cool & you don’t perspire. The product loses its adhesive quality if your skin is wet. The larger size breast petals are more difficult to keep in place due to their size & weight. After using the roll on adhesive, you will need to wash your skin where the adhesive was with soap & water, as well as the breast petals. Overall I like the product & would recommend it for purchase. **Q: does this have latex ?** A: No latex. It is a water based adhesive. Washes off easily with a damp cloth. **Q: Will this work for fabric as heavy as a wedding dress?** A: If your asking if it will work on fabric next to the skin, I honestly am not sure without trying a small area. I would like to think if the wedding dress is not extremely heavy with beads, material, etc. I would hope it could work for you but I think to be on the safe side, I would definitely try a small area first.
