Button 1 is stop and hold clear, and tap repeatedly for tap tempo. Button 2 is 1 tap to go up a memory, and 2 taps to go down. The third button actually works, also, just as a tap tempo button. Kinda useful really since the buttons are a bit close together so if you have sz 11 feet youll have issues with sometimes hitting switch 2 along with switch 1.
