The loofer side is abrasive enough to remove burnt on bits from pans etc. The sponge is absorbent and is great for cleaning surfaces. They last quite well, but you do need to be a little careful with the sponge as this is the most likely to get damaged. They feel good in the hand and are easy to clean under the tap. These are more expensive than the nasty supermarket green ones, but they are much nicer to use and are eco-friendly. Recommended Review: Hard wearing - Excellently hard wearing. Non scratch. Better than plastoc versions. ## Features - ✓ Approved by the Good Housekeeping Institute - voted one of the best eco sponges, scoring 85/100 - ✓ SEEP THE ENVIRONMENTAL BRAND YOU CAN TRUST - The team at Seep have partnered with climate charity "On A Mission" to take responsibility for our impact on the Earth. On A Mission are helping us reduce and offset our carbon emissions so we are officially a "Climate Positive" company. We're proud to be partnered with On A Mission and to support their fantastic reforestation projects. - ✓ 4 x ECO-FRIENDLY KITCHEN SCOURERS - Long lasting and perfectly balanced abrasiveness means a superior cleaning experience in your kitchen. Using nature's plant fibres to clean away stubborn marks and leave surfaces sparkling and residue-free all while being great for the environment. SEEP cellulose and natural fibre loofahs are cleaning products with a conscience. - ✓ ZERO WASTE CELLULOSE SPONGES - 100% compostable and natural dishwashing sponges. Our kitchen sponges are two-sided. On one side is a more abrasive surface made from pure loofah plants (equivalent to the green side on the green & yellow sponges). The other side made from wood pulp cellulose sponge is for gentle scrubbing used on smooth surfaces not to scratch your dishes, cookware or kitchen work surfaces. - ✓ SPARKLING CLEAN DISHES & KITCHENS EVERY TIME - Seep kitchen scourers are the perfect balance of rough and smooth surfaces for two in one cleaning. Long-lasting (approximately 6-8 weeks) they last longer than the usual green and yellow sponges. In addition to this, they are completely biodegradable, no micro-plastics and are compostable kitchen products. Clean your dishes & kitchens mindfully with "zero waste" to the planet. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08P4QV4FC | | Best Sellers Rank | 153 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) 5 in Cleaning Scourers & Sponges 14 in Household Cleaning Tools | | Brand | SEEP | | Brand Name | SEEP | | Colour | White | | Country Of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 out of 5 stars 1,379 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05060812060000 | | Included Components | 4 x Loofah Sponges | | Item Dimensions L x W x Thickness | 24L x 15W x 2Th centimetres | | Item Type Name | Eco Sponge Scourer | | Item Weight | 0.08 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Seep | | Material | Wood pulp cellulose and loofah | | Material Type | Wood pulp cellulose and loofah | | Model Name | Eco Cleaning Sponge Scourer | | Number of Items | 4 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Abrasive, Dual Sided, Eco Friendly, Lightweight, Non-Scratch | | Package Quantity | 1 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Kitchen cleaning | | Recommended uses for product | Kitchen cleaning | | Special feature | Abrasive, Dual Sided, Eco Friendly, Lightweight, Non-Scratch | | Surface Recommendation | Plastic | | Surface recommendation | Plastic | | Unit Count | 4.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SEEP - **Colour:** White - **Included components:** 4 x Loofah Sponges - **Item package quantity:** 1 - **Material:** Wood pulp cellulose and loofah - **Model name:** Eco Cleaning Sponge Scourer - **Product dimensions:** 24L x 15W x 2Th centimetres - **Recommended uses for product:** Kitchen cleaning - **Special feature:** Abrasive, Dual Sided, Eco Friendly, Lightweight, Non-Scratch - **Surface recommendation:** Plastic ## Images ![Eco Sponges Washing Up - 4 Pack Multipack Compostable Kitchen Sponge - Cleaning Sponges Made Using Loofah - Sponge Scourer - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51wZXDWSE-L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love these! *by A***! on 12 August 2026* I love these sponge/loofer combinations. Recommended ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hard wearing *by J***Y on 21 July 2026* Excellently hard wearing. Non scratch. Better than plastoc versions. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Do the job, almost. *by M***G on 9 September 2026* As we are trying to move away from the plastic sponges, we have been using these. The size is good so they feel good in the hand and they do clean cups and dishes fine, but when you get to the pots and pans the scouring side lacks. I awlays have to get out the plastic one for that. They are absorbant and eco-friendly. Just wish the scouring side was a bit better. there seems to be an inconsistancy as to the thickness. some of them when they get wet swell more than others. They do last and also can be thrown in washing machine. Obviously they are more expensive then the plastic ones, but are they worth it? You tell me. ## Frequently Bought Together - Seep Eco Sponges Washing Up - 4 Pack Multipack Compostable Kitchen Sponge - Cleaning Sponges Made Using Loofah - Sponge Scourer - Seep Recyclable Copper Scourers - Pack of 3 - Seep - SEEP Eco All Purpose Bamboo Cloths - Multi-Purpose Cleaning Cloth - Bamboo Dish Cloths - Pack of 3 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/276760658-eco-sponges-washing-up-4-pack-multipack-compostable-kitchen-sponge](https://www.desertcart.at/products/276760658-eco-sponges-washing-up-4-pack-multipack-compostable-kitchen-sponge) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
