## Description

The ideal balance of a high end car audio system requires the ideal mix of speaker tone, deep bass impact and clean undistorted power. The MB Quart Formula Series of speakers provide the base for a great sounding, impeccable system. This 6-1/2 in. Formula Series Component Speaker System has aluminum dome tweeters with polypropylene cone speakers as well as external crossovers. Peak handling power on this 6-1/2 in. car speakers are 140 watts; RMS is 70 watts.

Picked up two pair for my Saab wagon running off the head unit. Sounds good, crystal clear for 60 watts each. With an amp, they are much louder. Don’t expect lows, and don’t use the baffle behind them (waste of money). I’m happy with them, but again these aren’t high end speakers. They are loud, they are clear, and they are MB quart. Huge difference on a 4 channel amp with about 100 watts each.

If you want decent sound, this is it. Don’t expect Bose sound (which honestly is trash to a true audiophile) but anything is better than blown.
