Very nice light. 3 levels. Super bright beam, bright and a very weak barely night mode. Flood light also. No crank to charge up. Solar works but takes a week to fully charge and the units gets blood hot if left in sun… can swell and crack battery. Use solar to top off light… **Q: Is this 300 lumen solar flashight the highest lumen available or is there a solar flashlight with higher lumens?** A: I don’t know but on max, drains battery in 45 minutes. Medium is 4 hours as same as older light they sell. This one best if you want Max light and a very very low level that asks for days. **Q: Will this charge while the light is on?** A: Yes it will. Light gets hit when on but no issues. Pluses and minuses compared to their other solar light. I bought two of these. Larger solar panels, smaller and 4 levels of lights. Very bright, medium (equal to max on older light), low and very very low. **Q: Are the hangers durable enough to hang on a backpack to charge while hiking** A: Yes, the hangers are very good at holding the light on items be it a car hood raised up or from a tree. Solar charging is very slow.. days to fully recharge. Good news on full flood light, you get 9 hours… more if you use lower power. The hand crank version works great… 2 minutes hand cranking gets you 5 minutes full light mode. Pretty heavy taking camping. Can 1 (one) time charge a dead iPhone to full charge but then your light is drained. I use solar panels to quickly recharge the light.. 1 bright day does it.
