This replacement glass actually sits on top of your screen (doesn't replace the phone's actual glass screen). So, if your phone is cracked, this won't work for that. This is much better than the sheets of plastic that some people use as a protector. Those never seem to last and I always had air bubbles. This glass screen protector went on very easy and looks awesome. You can't really tell it's on there! My only caveat would be sometimes when you are trying to swipe all the way at either edge of the phone, it can be tricky.
