This is quite an improvement over the other "normal" infinity cubes I've tried sound-wise, and I think it's about as good as you can get. The feeling of this plastic feels about as soft as it can be before the whole thing just doesn't function. So within reasonable expectations, this thing is pretty quiet.The build is great. Very sturdy, has a great weight to it, and I love the size. I have smaller hands for a guy (I wear a medium in pretty much all rubber gloves brands if that helps for reference) and it just barely stretches across my palm. I can see if you have MASSIVE hands, that it may be a bit small to conveniently move around. The silicon is also tough. My student, in a fit of extreme anxiety, began chewing on it, and it wasn’t damaged. That was, however, crossing a line, and I told him he could keep it, and I ordered a new one for my daughter.My husband loved it so much that he borrowed it so he had something quiet to fidget with during conference calls (Hello, quarantine work from home!).
