One important thing for these brushes and all brushes....do not leave them soaking in water. They will crack and the paint will peel off...however I still use them if this happens but I try to be careful. These brushes are firm enough for acrylic paints. They clean well and hold the paint well. I use this flat brush to lay down a first layer and for bigger paintings.
