The 2.5mm current doubler adapter cable by Gator Cases allows you to power up the Line 6 HX Effects and HX Stomp pedals. The GTR-PWR-2XCURR-L6 features two 2.1mm male right angle barrel plugs down to one, larger 2.5mm straight male barrel plug to ensure compatibility with Line 6 HX series pedals. The doubler works by combining the current from two (2) outputs on a power supply to yield a higher total current rating from one (1) power output. To prevent the risk of damage to effects pedals, the current doubler adapter only doubles the current of the source outputs, not the voltage

**Q: What is the best combination to use it for the hx stomp?**
A: Plug this cable into two 9v 500mA outputs on a power supply and then connect to the HX Stomp. 1000mA total output by doubling two 500mA outputs.  I use the Truetone CS7 1 SPOT PRO and have had no issues at all.

I wanted to combine current from two jacks to power my HX Stomp LT from my Strymon Zuma. This is the cable for that, nothing else needed. There are lots of other cables that might be a partial solution, but this "Gator Cases Current Doubler Adapter Cable" is the best.
