Yes, they went to the bottom of the bucket. Some appeared at first to float but they sunk slowly to the bottom of the bucket as well. I did both lower case as well as capital letters. **Q: Can anyone tell me the actual size of the letters?** A: Of course, the size varies by letter, but they are big enough that my two year old wouldn't swallow them, which was what I was most worried about.
