It connects to the headphone jack on the PS4 controller and kinda slips underneath. It is powered by the controller itself so doesn’t need to charge, doesn’t need a cord. **Q: Can i put them on a ps5 controller?** A: No. Specific for PS4 controllers. No PS5 controller paddles from Sony as far as I’m aware **Q: Can i use my ps4 controller with the attachment on my ps5 console?** A: Yes you can use the PS4 controller with the paddles on PS5 but ONLY for PS4 games. It will not work at all with any PS5 versions of games. If you upgrade the game on the PS5 to the PS5 version the game(like if it was originally a PS4 game) then you won't be able to use it to play the game. **Q: The paddles just stopped working one time when I got on and my controller is charged what is wrong?** A: Try to clean the jack plug ( metal piece that goes in the controller ) use a dry piece of cloth.
