Got a great response, 10/10 would recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the best comeback albums ever *by L***Y on Reviewed in the United States on November 2, 2017* Let’s start off by saying Loveless by mbv is my favourite album ever. And isn’t anything is probably my favourite debut album of all time as well. So I’m a pretty big fan of mbv and was wanting to love this album. But at first I was kinda taken back by how low-fi and weird some of the songs were. I have to say upon first listen I kind of admired this album more than actually liked it. But after listening to it a few more times, i really came to appreciate how great it really is. If you’re more a fan of their early stuff than you are of Loveless, I’m not sure if this album is for you, but if you love Loveless and albums like Kid A, I think you’ll love this. A great album, and as fantastic a comeback as we could ask for. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ New MBV...finally! *by B***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 26, 2013* I am a relative late-comer to MBV; I've only known about them (and been a huge fan) since I heard "Sometimes" in the sondtrack of the movie "Lost in Translation" around 2004. However, since they hadn't produced any new albums since 1991 (Loveless), I had real doubts there would ever be anything new. I mean "Loveless" was such an out-of-the-box peerless master-work of a record, I thought that maybe we would all have to be content that this was the pinnacle of what we could expect from MBV. Nearly the whole time I've been aware of them there have been rumors of something new coming, but the years passed and...nothing. Until now! I was excited when I saw that this new album, "mbv," was available, and did not hesitate to pay the high import price for it. After listening a few times, I am very happy to find that "mbv" is really still undeniably MBV! I mean the moment I heard the first fuzzy chord of "She Found Now," I said yes, they're back...finally. This is not to say they haven't changed at all; that would not be really possible, or desirable either, I think. With Loveless, MBV found their stride, and with "mbv," they have refined their sound even more, and it's absolutely wonderful, in my opinion. So much so, the ablum seems to end too quickly at just over 46 minutes.
