This a light adhesive that holds dentures close to the gums to keep food out from under them. it is soluble and has to be replaced often during the day especially if you are eating and drinking a lot. Fact is, the power cord went wonky and I had to perform all sorts of circus-variety voodoo to get the cord to power the (excellent, for the record) motor to do its work. When that failed I scoured the local Goodwill store for cheap replacement transformers. When that failed, I repurchased. Eventually, technology will provide an AC/DC wall plug and a USB port plug and this won't happen again to anyone else. Otherwise, I'm a huge fan of this company and its product.
