I connected this switch on the side port and connected the three outputs to my Fire TV, Jio STB and my gaming PC. Works well to switch between the signals. It also switches automatically between inputs, when only one is active and others on standby. Please note that this is an HDMI switch and not a hub. People connecting the single ended input end on their laptops and saying it doesn't work, don't really know how a switch is supposed to work. An HDMI switch, as its name will let you switch between multiple input signals while utilizing a single HDMI port. It will not let you connect multiple monitors on your laptop. Review: Not working!!! - I'm writing this due to, it may be useful for someone who is planning to buy this product. This product is not at all working. Bought this 11 month back to use my monitor with both my work and personal laptop and it has been doing exactly what it advertised; switching between different HDMI inputs smoothly with the click of a button. As of today, that button has stopped working and I'm no longer able to switch but it's ok. It lasted long enough for me and never gave any issues.
