Its because buyers always demand the lowest prices possible on almost everything we buy so dont just blame corps for up & moving. This wagon is offered for under $30 from China now but if it was offered over $50 made in USA here too which one will outsell the other? Its true corp greed comes into play but mostly its how people shop is why we're where we are. Many US corps have actually gone under trying to compete, especially on non patent items being made in USA & China both we lose everytime. We used to make Fisher price toys at the plant I worked at but Mattel moved our stuff overseas 30yrs ago. We lost big time there, it about closed our plants doors. We filed BR then decided to just make parts for military weapons because sadly the US will always need those. May just be all we have left in the end? Quite honestly speaking its way too late to worry over whats made here, people should have cared more decades ago when it all started leaving. Once they left most are never returning. **Q: What are the inside dimensions?** A: Inside the wagon itself, the measurements are 33.5"x14.5"x4". If you put the wood sides on it, the inside measurements become 35.5"x16.5"x10". **Q: What are the specs: measurements/dimensions and weight** A: length is about 35'' width of 16'' about 4'' deep weight would be about 20lbs or so. very sturdy built very well. all metal. i bought 1 for my grandson when he was 1 and he is 9 now. still looks good and i use it myself. put my heavy new tv stand on it to bring in from the car. **Q: If someone was in the inside, and they were going down a hill, would it be steerable?** A: No. The handle is too vertical.
