Besides the standard improvements in sequel (more characters, stages, modes, etc.) Fight for New York improves the already great "AKI wrestling engine" from the last game by adding more ways to win a match. The last game you could only win by using your "blazin'" finishing move on your enemy on low health or by wearing down limbs via submissions. Both methods took too long and was a major downside to the last game. One last great thing about this game is the 1 player mode where you fully customize a fighter and strengthen him through points gained in battle.
