I love that it has built in leaves that tuck under for smaller table size. Once all of the leaves are open, the table shape changes to a circle which can comfortably seat 6 people. Maybe even 8- but I have not tested that. Awesome lazy susan turn table in the middle. Cute drawer in the base is functional and can hold placemats, or a tablecloth, or extra silverware and cloth napkins. See instructions with purchase for proper care of the wood. ### ⭐⭐ Showing poor quality after a year *by J***D on March 8, 2021* We bought this table, and have loved it and taken excellent care of it for about a year and half, even after the first table top we received was broken and we were sent a replacement.But just recently we are seeing lift in the wood grain on the table top - almost like it is bubbling up. It's showing poor quality.While it's been a beautiful, sturdy table for awhile, I would've expected the table to be perfect at this stage, especially since we don't have kids/pets/or anything to mess it up. I'm looking for details on what can be done - every website I go to says to contact the other website. I don't usually leave reviews like this, but I also rarely spend this much on furniture. The first shipment included a badly damaged box which was the base with the draw. My husband assembled it by himself and we waited for a replacement base. We did not purchase the chairs only the table. From past experience, wood chairs are really uncomfortable.
