The sections are not air right but if you put in fruit that has been well drained/isn’t enormously wet, it’s fine. I often put dry crackers in a reusable snack bag separate from this container, if it’s a big concern. I also position this container with the wettest food down in the lunch bag. **Q: Will this hold 2+ cups of greens with room to spare for protein, etc so I can eat from it?** A: I'm assuming you are talking about raw greens (salad). I don't have this size container, but it will hold slightly more than two quarts, so I'd just put your salad into a measuring cup (1 qt., if you have that size), to see if this size would work. I believe you could make a pretty good size salad for this container.
